My Disney Experience App Countdown

My Disney Experience has a countdown "days to go" feature in the desktop experience. I'm not aware of an official Walt Disney World desktop countdown widget, however, there are several apps and widgets you can use that are "unofficial". There is an app called, "Days to go to WDW" that will countdown the days until your trip on your phone.

My Disney Experience is completely free for everyone to use, but you will have to make a Disney World account in order to use all of its features. There aren’t any in-app purchases needed to unlock new parts of the app, but you can make a multitude of purchases within the app. If I am thinking of the same feature, it is available on the website under "My Disney Experience". Once you sign into "My Disney Experience", under the welcome on the left hand side you will find a square with a hat tilted to the left side that is "My Plans". In that square you will find the "Days to Go" with a number that is the countdown. Hopefully, you have a My Disney Experience Account. Once you have a My Disney Experience Account, link your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Reservation to your account. Once you link that resort hotel reservation, your countdown will begin! Simply click on the My Disney Experience icon currently located near the top right-hand corner of the Walt. As for tracking your Disney Dining Plan entitlements, you'll be able to do that in the My Disney Experience Mobile app. Under "My Plans," select your Resort Reservation, then "View Room Details," and then "Check Dining Plan." Here, you'll see an accounting of your meal and snack entitlements, and even whether you've picked up your Resort.

My hack for having it on my lock screen is to take a screenshot every morning and setting it as my lock screen wallpaper!
