A few hours of searching later I find a year old forum post that basically says that the My Chevy app is for older Chevy cars, like 2011 and older, and that the Remote Link app by Onstar is what you should use. So I download that, and voila, there's all my remote accesses and things. Until recently the MY GMC app key fob was free for previous vehicles.. I used it for my 2013 with out charge. Now they want an onstar subscription to be able to use the key fob on the My GMC app. Once my 30 day trial was over , it disappeared from the app. Ridiculous on a $50K vehicle...
