Any chance that Global Entry users will be allowed to use the Mobile Passport app instead of the kiosks, but still use the GE line? As things have evolved it seems like CBP pretty closely checks passports/identity anyway when exiting from the GE line, at least at IAD and a couple other places I've recently entered. In comparison, Global Entry is available at 43 domestic airports (including all but one of the Mobile Passport locations) and 15 international destinations. If your home airport (or preferred international gateway) doesn’t support Mobile Passport, then it won’t do you much good. In that case, I think getting Global Entry is a no-brainer.
