Last year all went well, the tomatoes set and when they started to ripen all my vines turned brown, wilted and died. For about a decade, Love Apple grew organic produce on its 22-acre farm in the Santa Cruz Mountains for the Manresa kitchen alone, with frequent consultations between Kinch and Sandberg. The menu changes seasonally and you can rest assured that the food is always fabulous, thanks to Andrea Meyer, The Love Apple’s equally talented chef who has also long worked with local growers and uses only organic and grass fed meats and poultry in her recipes. Love Apple Farm is a working 80 acre farm that is opened all year round. We also grow blackberries, blueberries, cherries, gooseberries, peaches, plums as well as raspberries & strawberries. Our farm workers incorporate guidelines set as Integrated Pest Management.
