Question: Q: Kindle App Not Syncing Has anyone else out there downloaded the Kindle App and tried to sync it with their Kindle 1? Mine will not sync between the two devices so I am resorted to writing down the page and finding the location each time I want to read on a different device. Only then I open my Kindle iPhone app, download the book from the ‘All’ section to my device, open the book, and check that it syncs to the page I flicked to on my Paperwhite before. I then reinstalled the Kindle for Mac App and after launching the app I got the message "Unable to Connet, Please check your NetWork Settings and Proxy Configuration". I have tried everything under the sun from suggestions on the internet and from my own 31 years of working with Apple Computers and the solution to fixing this problem eludes me. One of my favorite features of my Kindle device and the Kindle app on my iPhone and iPad is the ability to read a book on one device, then pick up a different device, open the book and continue reading from the same place. I tend to use my Kindle Paperwhite at home for morning reading, then I use the Kindle app on my iPhone for reading during my commute or when standing in line at the coffee.

Regarding the above: I DO have the "Import Collections" command on my Kindle-for-Mac, but not on my Kindle Paperwhite device. – user5431 Oct 15 '15 at 13:29 I am assuming from the above comments that since I have a various devices (android, PC, Kindle) and source books from various places and formats that there is no way to sync them all in. If you have found that your email addresses do not match, you can correct this by logging out of the incorrect account, and then logging in with the correct email address.
