Espark is an app that I recommend using 15 minutes a day for math. It shows me exactly what standard they are on and emails me when a student is struggling in an area. It is customized to be at their level. No student will have the same path to follow! The monsters are here and only math can save you! Goblins, skeletons, and all manner of gnarly monstrosities have laid siege to your castle. Your only hope of defending yourself is with the power of math! If you’re smart enough, and if you’re fast enough you’ll be able to push back and destroy the waves of monstrous hordes! What makes eSpark a great learning tool? Most other online resources in math and reading provide great practice but don’t actually teach students with instruction. eSpark has assessment, direct instruction, and practice to help your students learn and master new skills.
The eSpark app places each student where they need to be in math and/or reading, based on benchmark testing given by the school district. From there, the students can work at, below, or above grade level at their own pace. Through Espark math, PK-5 students will get targeted learning instruction by reading. The third party games and other educational videos will practice the students for getting new skills and learning without boring. Espark Student App will get particular problems and students activities and provide them unique learning for their better. This keeps students challenged with math and reading material that meets them where they are in their journey and progresses at their pace, slower for difficult material and faster for the skills they intuitively grasp. Here’s what students do: Log into the eSpark app with the username and password picture provided by the teacher. What I like most about this product is the comprehensive way that it teaches each concept to the student using various modalities. This is very important because students learn in different ways. I also like the reports I get from eSpark as to who is struggling, and what my students are struggling with.
